My mom is a "puzzle" so I got her this as a little gift. At first I was surprised how small it is. I knew it wasn't a BIG puzzle, but I didn't expect it to be THAT small. The fact that all of the pieces are crispy and quite difficult to glue together makes it even more difficult. The biggest surprise, however, was that NO instructions were included. SOME instructions or step by step photos would be helpful but they don't help at all. You are alone in this - and therefore it becomes even more complicated and difficult. I wish they would publicize the fact that instructions are NOT included (although most people would need/prefer them). My mom loves all kinds of difficult puzzles and has solved many puzzles from "normal" to 3D and 4D. She can solve them fairly quickly at times, and she doesn't mind very difficult puzzles that take a lot of time and thought to solve. She has been working on very difficult puzzles for literally MONTHS and really enjoys this hobby. When I read that most people found this puzzle difficult, I thought it would be perfect for them. But it wasn't a "fun and challenging" puzzle. It ended up being just a nasty pain - and as I said the main reason (apart from all the small and crunchy bits) was that there were NO instructions - not even a picture or photographic steps to follow. Nada! Unlike my mother, I am NOT a "puzzle". But I tried to help her and we started looking for instructions on the internet. We could only find videos that people had taken themselves showing them putting the puzzle together, which of course didn't help. The only thing we could find regarding this puzzle was the feedback of how many people claimed they really "hated" it (with the main complaint being that it was too difficult, too small, all the clear pieces do it too confusing and because the instructions are missing). Even after searching the internet we could NOT find any instructions or even a random guide on how to assemble this puzzle. The parts were confusing for me as it was hard to tell which parts really fit together and which only seemed to fit. seems to fit. Since they are all clear, they all look the same. To be honest, I just gave up quickly. If someone loves puzzles, especially very difficult ones that take a lot of time, and doesn't mind that they do NOT have any kind of tutorial, although it would be VERY helpful and maybe even REQUIRED, this can be a sweet gift for them. My main complaint is that there are no instructions, pictures, manuals - no help at all. And again, the pieces are pretty small and all crisp (and some just don't fit "right"). in. I don't think it's my best gift choice, but it happens. I definitely do not recommend this to anyone for all of the reasons I mentioned above. If you are considering buying it for someone else, then this is NOT a kid friendly puzzle at ALL. Maybe a teenager if they are VERY patient. But it's definitely a puzzle, difficult and even impossible for adults, so it's definitely NOT suitable for a child.
