This worked for me! Bought a CV trunk.

Fit me! I bought a CV boot that has a seam that needs to be taped and then straps are applied on each side. The straps that came with these boots were large stainless steel zip ties. I didn't have enough grip and strength to tighten these straps (or I didn't have the right tools). So I bought these stainless steel Uxcell bands and some Lisle boot clip pliers and was able to tighten them really tight. No lube escaped and I have several hundred miles with a spare boot.
