I bought idoove to watch movies on my iPad while traveling. I'm here to tell you this works great for that. I connect the idoove USB to my Macbook Pro and then transfer my mp4 video files from the laptop to idoove. Then connect your idoove to your iPad via the Lightning connector. Open the iD Stick app (free download from App Store), locate the movie file in idoove, double click the file and the movie will play flawlessly without taking up valuable space on your iPad. It plays most video files. You can also use it like any other flash drive to store and share photos, videos and documents.
