This adapter features three (3) Hi-Speed USB ports, one HDMI port, and one universal SD card reader slot. You can only have two active ports at the same time, otherwise the computer will freeze all the time. For example, if you have an HDMI cable connected, you can use *only* one (1) USB port or *only* one SD card reader at a time. If you see an HDMI output and are trying to connect two USB devices, welcome to Crashtown because your computer doesn't know what to do with itself. Other than that, it's a great gadget - and for the price, I'm not too upset that it doesn't have full functionality.
