It doesn't work directly
To be honest this product doesn't work at all, it's like a $7 scam. I tried using it for a USB mic and it didn't even turn on my USB mic for a second which is so compatible with USB 2.0. Tried everything and just doesn't work, should be taken off Amazon if it doesn't work for anyone as the reviews suggest.
