I didn't see an option to choose Revain packaging, so the lamp was sent in the original manufacturer's packaging. Not only was it revealed what was inside the box, making it a candidate for 'lost' in transit, the protective packaging inside was adequate for barley. But everything arrived intact and with minimal damage to the box. A lightbulb didn't work. It was loose so I attached it. Still didn't work and it was hard to get it out without loosening the lamp's plastic retainer in the housing. The bulb was found to be incorrectly installed compared to the other three. I put the bulb back in with the markings facing inward toward the camera, like the other three bulbs, and it worked fine. Do these lamps need to be polarized and installed in the correct orientation? If I had thought so, I would have checked the replacement bulb that came with it before putting the originals back in. OK, I think. I tested a piece of resin coated polymer clay and it worked great.
