Just what I wanted for the top laundry compartment only. I use it as two separate baskets. I'm using smoothie straws again. They have multiple holes in the lid that are just the right size. The top shelf came out perfect - the first in the dishwasher. Well made shelves to last. I use a lot of cutlery and have started to use smaller loads more often. The top shelf has been the solution to smelly dishes in the dishwasher for days. There was no shelf upstairs, but glasses and cutlery (most of my load) are now made regularly. I like the lid on the wider basket for cutlery or small plastic items inside. A narrow one is good for knives and utensils.
