I bought these speakers for my kids for Christmas last year. 2 of them broke within a few months, I put it down to the kids being too rough with their stuff. My 9 year old daughter bought a new set with her own money and I just watched as they broke in the same spot as the others. Incredibly irresponsible and sloppy, she had the audacity to "dress" them. How dare she, right? One, maybe even two, break off like this, which is of course a user error. But what if you can't even put them on without worrying about them breaking? This is a design flaw. I emailed the manufacturer but don't fall into the trap I set and assume since you've heard of the brand they must be better than fakes. There are very few of them. 3/4 of mine broke within a few months or less and the only other pair still work, probably because they were never used. On the plus side, they sounded good and the mic works well for the headset itself. Just treat them like they're museum pieces, not baby headphones. 3/4 of mine broke within a few months or less and the only other pair still work, probably because they were never used.
