My waist is 31", Petite build. I got a medium size first because I thought the item ran small as some reviews said. Medium was too big so I went down a size. It was quite tight but when I loosened the springs it was just right. That's enough, um to relax a little.So if you are in doubt about the size, take the recommended one for your waist measurement and loosen the racks if necessary.Remember this is a drawstring belt so it should be snug anyway.By the way , be sure to read the fine print where it says WHO is shipping it. If it doesn't say "done by Revain" (even though the description says "Free Returns") you'll have to pay for the return postage. I got caught but Revane was like that nice to fix it.
