I am sort of a no show sock snob. I love them and I am extremely picky about which ones I will wear. They must be at least 90% natural fibers and they absolutely cannot slip down into my shoes. I like no show socks because I can wear them with shorts or leggings and it gives the illusion that my feet are nestled comfortably in my sneakers without any socks at all. I have no idea why this makes me so happy, but it does. It's the little things in life. These are not no show socks. I would call them ankle socks at best. They are comfortable socks and wear nicely, but they come up above the ankle and unless a person is wearing high top sneakers or boots, they 'show'.These socks are labeled as being 90% merino wool and 8% nylon. I am a knitter and have used a lot of merino wool. I think maybe these are made from an incredibly inexpensive wool, but I would have to guess it is not a high quality merino wool. I received one pair, while the photo shows three pairs, so I'm not sure how great the pricing is. Our regular brand of wool socks runs about $12 per pair for 100% wool socks and they last for years. These socks are comfortable. They were easy to wash and I hung them on the line to dry without any issues.
