When I visited my parents' home in warm Southern California, their kitchen was infested with sugar ants. A family friend told us about his DIY recipe to get rid of ants. The ingredients include boric acid, sugar and water. We followed the prescription using boric acid from the local pharmacy and it turned out to be lumpy with clumps of boric acid undissolved. it dissolves easily. We dumped the solution and after two days the ants were no longer a problem, after a week they were only found outside the house. This boric acid is VERY finely ground and dissolves easily in water, a much better price than what we paid for a tiny jar from the local pharmacy. If we ever run out, we'll buy it here at Revain. In large numbers here earlier this year. I placed a second order for this boric acid powder to kill ants on our property here in Washington.
