If you look here, you know the new RAV4's interior lighting is sub-par unless you're a mole. It absolutely cares. You really need to trim the card's light circuit boards - a sharp pair of scissors will do the job just fine (make sure you use your wife's pretty fabric scissors). Trimming is easy enough (the PCB material is surprisingly soft for an FR4), but the dimensions of the PCB should have been better. I don't know why Toyota made the lighting department cheaper (and why not illuminated switches?), But now everything is much more convenient. Didn't get the hand puddle lights, but the cockpit and cargo light kits are pretty decent. PS: For charging lights, it's a good idea to tape some neoprene or felt around areas where the wire may touch and make noise when vibrating. .
