This review is for the Powered USB 3.0 Hub Pro version of this product: On the first day of use - everything seemed to work fine and after about an hour connections were made devices disconnected. intermittently, even when the connected USB-C device was not in use. With my Samsung T5 external SSDs (1TB and 2TB, plugged in separately and at different times) I got a "Disk not ejected properly" message. Notification. This could happen even if no data was read from or written to the hard drive. I've tried multiple devices of all types with only one connected at a time, with the same result. I would say throughput was excellent with Samsung T5 external SSDs (420MB/s write speed - 425MB/s read speed - this was on my late 2013 iMac, T5 drive speed is faster, >500MB/s, on my 2018 MacBook Pro). . There was only a small loss. 1-3 2MB/s speed difference when using a hub vs. direct connection to an iMac. I wish this would work better but unfortunately I'm sending it back as defective. The specs on this hub really met my needs, but I don't think I'll be ordering again. Maybe in the future when they fix the bugs. Seems their R&D isn't ready for prime time just yet.
