I have used a lot of lanyards for work. My keys are not tremendously heavy but, they are used frequently. I have been using this lanyard for a few weeks now and have had no problems. The reel pulls smoothly and does not catch or tangle itself. One reason I chose this model was it’s durability and the fact that It came in a two pack in case one broke on me. I do not believe that I will need the spare as the one I am using shows no sign a wear or breakage. I would definitely recommend this product.
