Review on 💾 2TB USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen2) NVMe Portable SSD by Helix - Speeds Up to 950 MB/S by Kevin Caldwell

What a great external drive. Small and fast. It was advertised as "up to" 950MB/s and I wasn't expecting to see that level of performance. I got over 900MB/s in both writing and reading. Oyen stated that they typically use Intel 660 SSDs in 1TB Helix devices. Please note that you cannot buy this SSD with case and cables at this price. I would consider this trip a real bargain. Feel free to buy it. Although this drive is solidly built, it feels a little "chunky" when placed flat on a surface. I would recommend buying a bumper or getting a bumper from Oyen for another $12. One more thing. I didn't think this drive was very hot like some reviewers say. It's warm to the touch, but the ribs on the case seem to keep it comfortably cool.
