I was looking for a Z-style stand for my MacBook Air. I like it when the screen is raised for better viewing and for a better zoom camera angle. This is a beautiful and durable stand. It comes with an L-shaped hex wrench to tighten in place. My tip: Tighten the 4 nuts just enough to allow the laptop to move. If you need a position or want the laptop to stay in place while typing, tighten the nuts securely. Once put on, I was able to type freely by pressing the laptop and it didn't move. Don't lose the wrench as you will need this or another Allen key to loosen it again. Air vents on the top help keep the laptop cool. Rubber feet on the bottom minimize sliding on the desk. Overall it's good value for money. This is a sturdy yet versatile stand to complement the silver laptop.
