Review on Centoco EMB201 001 Plastic Closed Toilet: Durable, Hygienic, and User-Friendly by James Small

My Eljer Square toilet was 14"Wx17"L if you follow the instructions to measure the correct seat. This model is slightly long for a round shape and slightly short for an oblong one. Luckily, the round version fitted perfectly. This was great because we have already bought and returned 3 seats from our local hardware store that were either too small or too big. Ease of installation. Plastic nuts and bolts. which are much better than the old metal models. We have rented this house for the last 4 years, the toilet seat broke on one of the hinges before we moved in. The owner kept chiding us about the exchange, so I finally decided to just do it, it should be easy, right. ? nope Now I know where this reluctance came from. The metal nuts, bolts, and wing nuts were so rusty and worn that we had to cut them off with a saw. No fun on a tiny piece of metal. It's probably been there for 30 years or more. So I'm grateful that this seat has plastic screws. They do not come with the shock absorbing wing nut that the models we had to return came with. I don't know why people say this model does or doesn't break on hinges. I think I will.
