No Splashing. Correction: It splashed after I stopped trying and got water all over it. THEN I sit and it doesn't work again. There are a lot cheaper options to spend your money on than this one. I've tried MANY times but I've never had to do it with any other water bottle that claims to do what this one does. For $20 I figured I was getting a quality product that you knew was built to last. It seems cheap and works worse than what I could find in Family Dollar. save money sister. Period.
