Review on Premium Convex Mirror Adjustable Security by Doug Virden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I will buy a few more of these.

For those short on time, the mirror exceeds all expectations for a product at this price. Definitely good for home use. It probably covers most light commercial applications as well. I will buy more of these for our house. However, if you anticipate hail, severe storms, large derricks, or forklifts hitting the item regularly, you can purchase a mirror with metal. Frame. You don't need to read the rest of this paragraph. But when used for something that plastic molded mirror mounts can reasonably withstand, I think this product is as good as it gets. Here are my reasons: 1. Good packaging: It was properly packaged in a sturdy cardboard box in the (optional) Revain box. (There is no picture, I threw it away until I decided to write a review.) The mirror surface itself is protected by a film.2. Don't skimp on the extras: it comes with a set of four good wall anchors.3. Good idea: the mirror is made of plastic, which makes it light. The mount has a neat plating, heavy gauge steel. Obviously someone must have thought of that.4. Good design and finish of plastic parts: I'm not an expert on transfer molding. But I've seen it done and listened to experts in the Far East and here in North America. So, without disassembling the mirror, I checked how the screws fit. And I have to say I have a very good impression of the design and workmanship. Another detail is the swivel joint. It moves very smoothly with very little friction. Someone has to know plastic shrinkage very well to come up with a design like this. Well done. Some users may feel that random movements are too easy. I suggest using a dab of hot glue to attach it if really needed. I hope you find this review helpful.
