I bought a used Revain scope, arrived without a power cord. I was able to find one in my computer accessories, no apologies for no power cord and nothing when emailing Revain and Swift. The sight itself is decent, . not a heavy unit like others on the market making it portable. Images are bright and sharp using a wet glycol slide frame, the aperture lets in more than enough light, and the aperture is decent and gets the job done. mechanical, . Head turning is a little rough at times, nothing serious. The eyepieces work well and move smoothly. Eyepieces are ok, I haven't tried 25 magnification with oil yet. GENERAL, . this is a really good scope for the money. It has a mechanical stage, precise focus that works well, and is light enough to take out into the garden [with an extension cord]. This suits my needs as an old retired biologist/doctor who misses the microscopy process. could have spent more. but I see no need for home builders or anyone who wants something better than most crap that sells for less. THIS IS A GOOD MICROSCOPE, . BETTER THAN SOME I USED IN COLLEGE. Don't let 380 fool you, . The 350 fills every need without a "phototube" to fiddle with.
