Review on 🎮 OUBANG Wireless Pro Controller with NFC for Nintendo Switch: Turbo, Dual Motors, and Amiibo Support by John Ghattamaraju

I ordered this controller because I wanted to use the controller to scan amiibo cards into the switch without having to remove the console from the base. The controller itself actually works very well, but it doesn't scan my amiibo. I tried scanning a few of my amiibo and it kept showing that he couldn't read them, except once when he found one of the characters after about five tries and couldn't find it after that. They are all genuine Nintendo amiibo figures and I know they work because they were scanned into another Nintendo without any issues. This could be because I have cards instead of figures and it doesn't get close enough to the NFC point to get the transfer right, but I'm not entirely sure. It's a good price for a controller and otherwise works well, but I think the amiibo reader is probably part of the product which could be random. I think it's worth grabbing for the price if you don't care if the NFC dot works. I'll probably end up buying another amiibo reader controller and setting it aside as a backup controller.
