ASUS is becoming a brand I can trust.

I bought this motherboard as part of a small chain store to build a new rig. The price is great and the motherboard itself lives up to it. On the one hand, it looks great. I know there's a trend towards red in computers, but you can't beat this classy blue. It's also SLI-ready (and comes with the hardware required for SLI of the two cards together) and packed with features that may or may not be standard these days. One of the most impressive things for me is the USB mouse boot priority during BIOS, which introduces a very complex BIOS GUI that you can control with your mouse cursor. One thing I noticed is that the manual doesn't list all supported RAMs as the Corsair RAM I installed on this computer wasn't listed as compatible but has given me absolutely no problems for the past few months . It's probably better to just look at the information on the internet than to trust the printed publications. To be honest, the manual was the worst part of the experience, as it was often vague about motherboard specs and offered very few reliable, helpful descriptions for the buzzwords it threw around. The shape is definitely a plus, everything is laid out to make sense and not clutter. If you're interested in a sidebar window, this attention to how a user can decorate the inside of their computer is welcome. All in all a great purchase, highly recommended.
