I love that it's a lot like cooking with an iron skillet.

I grew up cooking with an iron skillet that my mom was given from her mother. I always loved the feel of cooking with a heavy pan, and I like the ability that heavy pans have at proper heat distribution. These two pans are like an iron skillet both in that they are somewhat heavy, and they distribute heat really well. I have many things that made me love these pans, but I gotta say, it felt amazing to be able to use a metal spatula in a non stick pan. It feels like I am going to scratch and it mess it up, but it doesn't hurt it at all since it is made for metal utensils. I decided to put this pan to the ultimate test. I made scrambled eggs in it with no oil, butter, or anything. The pan took a little bit of time to heat up since it's kind of thick but the eggs turned out beautifully. Sometimes the egss stuck for a just a second, and then I moved them with the metal spatula and they unstuck right away. As always after cooking scrambled eggs, I was dreading cleaning the pan. I put the tiniest bit of soap on the pan and ran a sponge across it and I was done cleaning it in 15 seconds! I spent 4 times this long just trying to clean the scrambled eggs off my spatula. I had to look back at the pan and inspect it because I couldn't believe it cleaned so quickly.Another thing I like is the handles. I'm so used to getting burned because my gas range gets really hot, and these handles do a great job at keeping cool. One thing that I will point out is that if you are making a really delicate food that is still best when oil or butter is used, then I would still suggest using oil or better. Not because of being concerned about to sticking, but simply because some foods cook best on an oil or butter surface even of the pan is nonstick. The example that I will give would be a fried egg. I tried making one in this pan without using an oil like I normally do, and while the pan was still non stick, the egg did not cook how it normally would when I fry it in oil and had to be thrown away. Use discretion when deciding not to use oil or butter.I store my pans inside of cabinets, but if you have hooks in your kitchen then I would say hang these pans up since they have the pre-cut holes. The mirror finish on the back of these pans is so beautiful that I think they look best out in the open.
