Some people whistle when moving the cord

I'm updating my previous review. In my previous review, I noted that these headphones "produce a very loud whistle when nice nylon chords are moving". Got a call from the company that makes them (apparently they pay close attention to what people are saying in these reviews). The woman from the company said they have another model of headphones that may fit me better and if I want she will send me a pair. The second set of headphones has rubberized chords instead of nylon chords, and whistling noise is greatly reduced. Interestingly, Symphonized's wife said that some people hear a whistle, but most people don't. I had my doubts but got a couple of friends to try the headphones and while one heard a whistle the other didn't. So it is clear that this is not a universal problem. I would recommend finding a version with rubber chords though. They're not pretty, but if you're the one hearing the whistling noise, they'll be a lot better. Hissing noise, These headphones sound great. I compared them to my top-of-the-line $300 noise-canceling Bose headphones. The Bose had a more natural sound, but the Symphonized was more responsive. I liked them both, and the Symphonized was $275 less (of course, Bose also has an amazing noise-cancelling trick that makes up the majority of their price point).
