This clock with timer and alarm is very original. When I opened the box I was surprised to find that it was slightly larger than I expected, but that's neither good nor bad, just an observation. I've seen some reviews complaining about complicated setup and fuzzy instructions, but I've had no problems. It was easy enough to figure out how to set the time, alarm, and volume without looking at the instructions. After reading the instructions, they seemed perfectly clear to me. The only real downside is that it feels cheap and the light doesn't illuminate the watch. As you can see from my photos, there is a red light on the back of the timer, but it doesn't shine through the clock at all. I would advise the manufacturer to just upgrade it so it shines like the picture on the box. Make all printed time displays glow in the dark, and then give the display a glowing backlight like any wristwatch, rather than a light shining from behind. I don't expect to use in the dark that much, but adding a glow in the dark would look cool, just like box art. People can also use this as an alarm clock if they wish, in which case the glow and backlight can help. The plastic feels light and cheap, and I suspect the two battery doors will eventually break. I don't have much faith that he can survive a fall off the kitchen table. But aside from those downsides, this timer is great with some really great features. An absolutely ingenious concept with a few small blemishes. Highly recommended for both private use and as a gift.
