I was so willing to throw this piece in the trash and save myself a headache. But I took a break for a few weeks and got back to it today. My first experience with this thing almost made me cry, I was so upset. My Cameo 4 didn't pick up registration marks. Tried automatic, tried manual. I've tried everything I can think of, everything on YouTube and blogs. Nothing worked. When he finally recognized the first mark, the machine pulled him so hard that the mat swerved sideways and got stuck. I tried it over a string pin mat for extra length and it still didn't work. Fast forward 2 weeks. There was nothing to do and I decided to try again. I took my photo, added my cuts. (Faux leather glued on with painter's tape) Just in case, I put a Pixscan rug on a sturdy rug. Then. I click register. Nothing. I turned on the flashlight on my cell phone and shone it directly on the license plates. And took! Passed 5 times in a row! I mean I think it's funny I have to make everything short as I stand upside down so Cameo 4 might spot it but once it does it's great! It has the potential to be a 5 star product but there are so many design flaws. The sticky part is simply erased under hands, the machine does not recognize it properly. Too short. And although I managed to register 5 times in a row, I changed the product on the mat, uploaded a new picture and immediately fought it again. I had to turn the machine off and on again and it worked again 🤷‍♀️
