The best thing I like about exist is that it allows me to connect with people in my community who are not online all the time, but may be lurking or checking their messages if they're near wifi. It's also pretty easy to navigate because you can just type someone into search bar when looking for them, which makes finding certain contacts easier than other networks. Sometimes there will be a lag between typing and seeing the contact show up. However, this only happens for the first few minutes after creating an account (or logging back into). If you want to see what people around you post/think without going through Facebook or Instagram, then this app could help! You get more insight into what your peers think about current events, news topics, etc., by being able to find them directly via username rather than having to go through profiles. This helps cut out some noise since you don't have to scroll down as much and read through posts.
