That didn't work for me because my MTB stem is too wide. The bolt on my stem is 38mm on center. That thickness maxes out at about 33mm in the middle, so the studs don't reach. Unfortunately, my bike was in service for a long time. I got it back on Friday afternoon. On Saturday I tried to install this part and found that it did not fit. The return window closed on Sunday, so I'm stuck with $26 aluminum. If anyone looks at this, I'll make a deal with you. Basically, if you are a mountain biker, avoid this product at all costs.
