Review on SAILEAD Driver Visor Toyota Sunroof Interior Accessories by Dee Parson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just as good as the Toyota OEM sun visor but cheaper than 1/3.

I bought this for my 2010 Toyota Venza because the dealer only lasted the driver's side sun visor for 3 years. The original sun visor lasted 6 years. I still feel terrible for spending $140 on the original sun visor and then another $40 to work at a Toyota dealership. For those who are new to these types of repairs, please have no fear as it is actually a lot easier than you might think. This visor has a small clip that hides a screw (you can use a flathead screwdriver or pick to remove it) and 2 screws that can be removed with a Phillips screwdriver. However, you must use the screws that came with your car because this sun visor does not come with screws. Everything is easy. Pros: - Inexpensive ($30 vs. $140 for OEM) - The light works exactly like the OEM lens hood (no need to fiddle with wires, the hood fits the socket perfectly.) - The fabric doesn't curl up. The colors look exactly the same to me (beige at least), but if your car has had a lot of UV/sun exposure, your car's interior may be relatively lighter. maybe durability, but if it lasts more than 5 years then it should be a buy it now for everyone.)

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Good but not great
