Our original 1995 Ford F150 door handle lasted over 20 years; However, over time and daily use, the plastic failed and broke at the point of attachment. We ordered a replacement Dorman 77178 Ford driver's side interior door handle and received it within the stated delivery time. The plastic looks lighter than the original. If you've ever dealt with the interior trim of a door, you know it's a chore, but installing a handle is easy enough. It took me less than half an hour to make the handle and replace the power window at the same time. Despite my quality concerns, the pen worked flawlessly. two weeks long. As you can see from the picture, it broke in the exact spot where the original has withstood two decades of use. Lesson learned, $7.95 wasted and the hunt for a quality product continues.
