I have several different post op (breast reduction) bras and this is by far the most comfortable. I don't know if I'm allowed to name other brands, but the cheap ($10) brand I have is made on a loom and the super expensive (about $70) has a hummingbird emblem. What goes these light years beyond the comfort of others is measured as follows: 1. Walk down my torso and stop just below my chest. For a few weeks post-op, anything that creates too much pressure under the breast just feels like a wire from Hades, although none of my wires do. It certainly has grip, but there wasn't any hard pressure that brought tears to my eyes and chafed at my sores. 2. He raises his chest but doesn't crush it (hummingbird). I had to constantly reach for another bra to lift my boobs while moving. It felt like drugs were being poured into my chest and it was excruciating. This bra gave life and stability but is not stiff at all so I don't feel suffocated.3. Side hold! Your chest will still sway from left to right as you walk after the contraction, and you will never again be aware of how much your body is swaying than during that tender period. Walk, drive, whatever. you feel everything This bra minimized that shakiness for me. It tolerates dressing very well. As you can see from my photos I have bandages under my bra. The compression keeps them from being seen as long as I keep the gauze smooth. The elastic material is really optimal for the changes that my breasts have experienced during this time. Edema, bandages of varying strength, etc.5. It doesn't look like grandma's bra! It's actually pretty nice because it goes that far. I'm going to order a second bra so I don't have to wash mine as often between wears. I wish I had bought at least three of these right out of the gate. backdating!
