This blower seems well-suited to the task I bought it for: clearing out the hard-to-get-at leaves from behind my heat pump (both my neighbors have large trees which shed tons of leaves at this time of year). It did that most satisfactorily. I bought a corded type after reading the reviews of cordless ones; the affordable units seem to suffer from low power and/or short battery life; this one has ample power.I've only used it once, so obviously don't know anything about durability. I was a little disconcerted to find spare brushes in the instruction package; that was very thoughtful, but could also imply problems ahead. I was also worried by a smell of hot oil when I first used it; I hope this is simply because it's new and not a bad bearing.Quibbles: It is advertised as having a 10-foot power cord. This is plain wrong: it's 6 foot. It is definitely essential to wear hearing protectors (the instruction leaflet warn that you should). The description on revain describes it as easily managed with one hand , because it only weighs 6 pounds, while the total shipping weight is given as 3 pounds; I suspect that that should read 3 kg. The power supply on the website is written in Chinese, so one doesn't know whether it is 110, 110/240, or battery; that's a sloppy omission. The variably speed controller actually kicks in at 0; if you want "off" then you have to go one click further. But these aren't too important, once you figure out what's going on. One star deduction for the seller not treating the buyer with proper respect.Overall, a good addition to my gardening tools.
