A few years ago I needed to replace a lightbulb in my microwave hood and bought a new lightbulb at a manufacturer's parts store for about $15. These bulbs cost 2 pack for about $8. So these bulbs cost half the price of the manufacturer's bulbs and work just as well. It's a G8, two-pin socket. Check your needs - you can always find the pen base in the parts list by model number. Can't comment on how long they last, but the manufacturer's didn't last very long - we rarely use lights. I expect them to last the same or longer. Great price for two pears. I have clearly labeled the packaging and kept it in an easy to remember place.
