Finally got around to chopping down a tree and was thrilled that each trinket fits in this empty space container. I have an artificial Christmas tree 7.5 full of decorations. It is easy to assemble with 3 layers of 25 decorations each. There are pieces of cardboard grid that you piece together and place on the floor - this is your first layer. Then repeat this 2 more times covered with fabric / with grip tabs, cardboard spacers between layers. The layers fit snugly, which is nice, but not sure how easy it would be to remove them if you just want to "see" what was in the layers underneath. Individual squares are quite spacious and can accommodate large decorations. I have a couple of very large pieces (5-6 inches) that were too big to stand or lay on and still fit on the top shelf. It was probably possible to put them on the top shelf just below the lid, but I wanted the lid to lay flat. The lid opens and closes with a zipper. This is an amazing feature. There are also two carrying handles on the sides. I was hesitant to buy a cloth organizer as I wanted the durability of a plastic container but it looks like it did the trick! I'd be comfortable putting another one like this, but I wouldn't put a heavy sterile container on it or anything. Because the sections are so large, I doubled many of the sections with smaller, unbreakable embellishments. I'm very happy with it and will probably have another one to organize the extra decorations I have.
