costume brooch in two parts. The main body is just over 1.5 inches long while the red gem is about 0.75 inches long. The smaller part is ¼ inch in diameter. The 2 pieces are connected by 2 chain links, the shorter of which is 3 inches long. Both parts are fastened with fasteners attached to their backs. The product comes in a ziplock bag packed in a cardboard box. The product was made in China. I find this to be an interesting piece of jewelry, suitable for jazzing up a denim jacket or for use on stage. Dark gold metal. A clear gem is shiny, while a red gem can be a bit matte. I don't know how long this item will last with use, but so far it's been comfortable to wear. All in all an interesting piece of jewellery.
