I bought these for the in ear noise canceling properties after being disappointed with the much more expensive Etymotic headset. Compared to the latter, they have a much better base and an overall richer sound. The sound quality of the microphone is satisfactory. Fast forward controls feel trickier than the Etymotic. Cables don't coil up as neatly as Etymotic or iPhone OEM products, but that's more of an annoyance than a real problem. For the money - around $20 - I think it's very good value for money.
