From reading the reviews and my experience I am assuming this is for *2.5L with TBI* only. I have a 2.5L on the 89 and it worked as expected. It was packaged as I would expect from the auto repair shop, meaning there are no instructions for someone wanting to do it themselves. While the replacement itself is as simple as can be, hopefully it goes without saying that you don't want to try to replace this if the engine is running or has recently been shut down. Make sure your engine is cold to the touch before attempting to replace it. Surprised the manufacturer didn't put a sticker or anything on it to indicate that this applies to someone who might be doing one of their first repairs on a car.
