Good absorbency for drying after a wash

These 16 x 16 towels are soft, medium weight, absorbent and are great for drying after car washes to prevent streaks or to prepare for waxing. I dedicate a towel to get most of the water out of the car right after rinsing. An absorbent towel gets wet quickly, but can be wrung out very easily to remove excess water and then absorb a new portion of water. After collecting most of the water from the car with this first towel (it takes about 1-2 minutes and can wring the towel 5-8 times), I use a second fresh, dry towel to collect the rest. Water leaving the first towel (another 1-2 minutes). The second towel stays relatively dry after collecting the remaining water. Using this method I can wash and dry multiple cars with this set of 3 16x16 towels. I use the same towel for the first drying and two different towels for the final drying. Then I hang them up to dry before the next wash. Make sure you remove the labels from the towels before use to avoid scratching the paint. The towels are very soft and easy to stain, but the labels are a little rough. It is best to dry your car relatively quickly after washing and rinsing to avoid water stains and streaks. These towels do an excellent job of leaving stains on the car (for driving straight away or waxing back).
