A bit of a "you get what you pay for" textbook - the product itself is almost worth the price, not very good quality for what should have been a precision instrument but damn I didn't say it has cost me riches. I wasn't expecting "Mitu caliber" quality, but it's very difficult to read with a reading window that doesn't inspire much confidence and a sliding locking screw that slips when tightened and then doesn't fully lock until measured . This becomes even clearer given the poor quality of the surfaces on the assembly line. I didn't send it back simply because I can leave it in the garage, use it occasionally for non-critical measurements, and don't worry too much about leaving it unattended. I later got a digital caliper from another one-stop shop for just a few dollars more, and I now use that caliper for measurements around the house (e.g. wire diameters, internal pipe sizes, screw sizes or thread depths, etc.) with more confidence . ). .) Bottom line: Two stars for being usable in certain circumstances, but not that easy to read, not that well done, and given the quality observed, not that cheap for what you get.
