First of all, I hate making a quilt sandwich. I love to sew and I love to quilt. But putting it all together is terrible. It works really well. You'll have to use a grid to avoid hitting the table, but it's easy and inexpensive. You buy an in-ceiling grill from Home Depot and it works great. I lay the back on a large table, add the batting and the top. I try to glue everything together as good and tight as possible and we slide the mesh under the base and start the blanket. This makes working with the quilt much easier and easily removes minor tactics. I'm very glad I bought this little tactic.
