Thanks for the feedback on this laptop on the market and other publications on the web; with that in mind, here are some quick instructions on how to install Windows 10 on this laptop: 1. Make a USB disk bootable (on another computer): 1.1. We'll need a flash disk with 8GB of space or more. Let's set up the format. 1.2. To Microsoft we go. After downloading the file "MediaCreationTool21H1. Exe" from com/ru-ru/software-download/windows10 and clicking "Download tool now," you should launch the program and choose "USB flash drive." 1.3. The flash drive's drivers are obtained via a download from the intel website. Go to f6flpy-x64. Ru (the first result when searching for "intel rst driver"), download the file, and then unzip it onto the USB drive. All set, the USB disk is prepared. 2. In order to install Windows 10 (since the touchpad is inoperable, we use the TAB and Enter keys to check the appropriate boxes), we: 2.1. To turn on the laptop while holding Esc, we plug in the USB flash drive and turn on the power. When prompted, select F9 Boot Device Options, choose the appropriate Windows 10 edition (Pro in my case), and continue with the installation. Here, it is crucial that the laptop recognizes the flash drive; if it does not, you will need to revert to Step 1. 2.2. We chose "Custom Windows Installation" and "No Product Key Required," then formatted the disk to have 100 GB dedicated to the operating system (I actually left 200 GB alone) and the rest to files. The system has been installed on the primary disk (drive C:) 2.3. When prompted to restart by the installation, take out the USB disk to boot into Windows. 2.4. Then, proceed with the instructions while staying disconnected from the web. 3. Setup of Drivers 3.1. The touchpad and audio both stopped functioning at first. To ensure that Windows functions properly, go to "Settings," "ates and Security," and then "Windows ate." Everything was functional after a few of restarts. 4. Activating Windows 10 After giving it some thought, I made the decision to not activate Windows; this has no effect beyond the aesthetic, however the background can be altered. But the system can be eaten. I think you'll find my suggestion useful.
