Top quality candle and features make this a great purchase. It has a great height but a compact base that is a narrow oval but is still stable. The silver/tin finish of the ones I ordered looks elegant and beautiful. The lamps are amazing as they are 2 colors and each of the colors can flicker or glow with a constant light. Dusk to Dawn is a smart feature, but remember you can hook these candles to a timer so they also turn on and off according to your individual preferences. So if you want them to turn off automatically before bed you can use a timer or just remember to turn them off. The fact that it is powered by electricity instead of batteries saves money, especially in daily use. Just one last bit. The instructions say to tilt the candle to change color. You actually have to tilt it 180 degrees to get the bulb pointing all the way to earth. Only then does the color change or switch back. It's funny because to me, tilt is like a tilt, not a head-down somersault. I thought the first one was defective when I tipped it and nothing happened. Then when the second one did the same, I thought both couldn't be faulty. So I got aggressive and flipped her like an MMA champion lol. As if by magic, the candles changed color and everything was perfect. If you think about it, then it makes sense because you don't want the color to change just by moving or repositioning the candle. In fact, the most sensible thing to do is to get these amazing LED candles and enjoy what they offer for a long time.
