Review on The Sak Ventura 2-in-1 Convertible Backpack and Handbag by April Nelson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

looks like a cute travel backpack

I've been looking A LOT for a convertible backpack for a trip to Italy this spring. This is the one I chose because of its occurrence in both states; it looks like a cute travel backpack and also makes sense considering it as a shoulder bag or tote bag. However, I will say that the inside is deceptively small. I travel fairly light, but I can barely fit a water bottle, book, snack and wallet - something else was making the bag so full it wouldn't close, which is unsafe when carrying it in a backpack. Also, the material of the straps is either too smooth or the rings are too big because I had to keep adjusting them as they didn't stay in the tension I wanted. Overall I think this is still one of the prettiest convertible bags, and it can even go beyond the deceptive size, but the constant adjustments are just too much of a hassle. I will not take it on another trip, I will not buy it again.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
