I have had a similar stand before and this is very solid and well designed in comparison, especially for the price. It hardly wobbles unless shaken. Where people have had issues with collapsing, I think it's because you MUST use a hammer or mallet when assembling (if using a hammer, protect the surface with a towel or something so you don't dent it) in order to really drive in the posts all the way inside! The posts won't push through at all, let alone fully, unless you hit them with a mallet (I used a rubber mallet). Then he enters easily. I assembled it in about 10 minutes after figuring it out. Light! Start from scratch and work with pattern and common sense. Additionally there are 2 white small connectors packaged with end caps for the extension poles. It took me a minute to figure out where the 2 connectors go, but the diagram was actually very clear! I don't need wheels so can't comment on that, but I believe wheels can reduce stability. Although even without them he sits perfectly on a hard floor. I can highly recommend it because of the ease of use and would buy it again.
