Yes, you save money when you buy genuine toner, but you save a lot of money. So they're worth buying, but don't expect them to work all the time. If you're done with one and the second doesn't work, you'll probably abandon it because by then it's past the return period. I only recommend this for large printers who need to save money and can get through it fast enough to come back if they have problems. If you print occasionally and check one every 6-12 months, buy the original.
