One of the two strings we received was obviously repaired with a poor solder before packaging. The wires are fully exposed and not insulated. The second string is without fault and the lights look nice on the house. Color placement is not random, so expect the same color orientation on all icicle strands.
- The string light is safe to use and won't overheat, even with extended use
- They're not very customizable
