Works great. I bought this for my 16 month old daughter who wakes up a lot during the night. You can set it on a timer (5, 10 or 15 minutes) and it will turn on again if the baby cries for more than 4 seconds. It is also very easy for them to turn on by pressing any button. She loves it. The straps provided were too short so I made my own with velcro. And the first batch of batteries ran out quickly, but I set the timer for 5 minutes and haven't had to change the batteries yet (it's been about a month and we use it every day day and night). Since my daughter is already old enough to turn it on herself when she wants, it took us 5 minutes. For these two reasons I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
