The lenses are polarized and the color is visually represented on the site as closely as possible (I bought emerald green). I have used non-polarized lenses in the past and can feel a significant difference. It's too early to say if the quality will be close to Oakley's, but right off the bat they seem pretty good for the price. I've paid over $100 for a pair of sunglasses and there's no point in paying the same or less just for the lens, even though sunglasses are all about the lens, not the frame. I can highly recommend them as a very good alternative to the very expensive Oakley lenses.
