I use this product to hold a full size iPad on my Mavic Pro controller. Overall I like the mount, but there are a few things to note. Let's start with how the mount is made. When using an iPad tablet, you cannot see the LCD on the controller. For starters, the mounting lever rises right in the middle of the LCD screen. But that aside, when the iPad is lifted far enough for you to see the screen, it's so unbalanced that it's always trying to get out of control. If you lower the screen further, it will be better balanced and more comfortable to use. You can't see the controller at all, your hands are under the iPad. Seems a bit clunky at times, but it works well. The device folds compactly to fit in a tight suitcase. The device is extremely durable, made of machined aluminum. The connectors feel very firm, but it's clear that they have to support the weight of the iPad. The tension of the lever is adjustable with socket head screws and an Allen key is supplied to adjust it. The iPad holder itself is made of plastic and is not very durable. When trying to tighten the connection I already broke the base of the iPad holder a bit. The screw at the bottom of the aluminum case is small and has a small ring that is difficult to control and tighten. Mainly to make it firm enough to feel secure enough to keep the iPad from falling over. When your iPad detaches mid-flight, god forbid, in the middle of a difficult maneuver, it's beyond awkward and nerve-wracking. See photos for the rest of the story
