
I usually buy Raspberry Pi components individually from enthusiast websites and have spent way too much on Adafruit for home and work use. Sets have their place too, and this one has some good stuff in it. The touch screen is particularly useful for creating modular projects. I like to use them for boxes that rarely require post-configuration interaction to avoid connecting a monitor to make setting changes. The RP 4 approaches the speed of a conventional computer and is therefore flexible enough for a wide variety of tasks. If you're new to something like robotics or automation, consider opting for a ribbon cable and breadboard kit instead. Other than that, this is a good kit.
